Main Concerns

As an educator,each teacher must attend to the §fundamental foundations of learning environments.§This book gives teachers the competencies to design §and maintain coherent models of service and §supports, by introducing an umbrella theory which §holds two foundational strategies. The Main Concerns §Theory asserts that quality learning environments §start when attention is turned to the Supreme §Excellence of the student as a base for the design, §creation and implementation of Democratic Processes §and Symbiotic Relationships. A deep understanding of §the Main Concerns Theory will enrich educator §efforts to actualize coherent models and engage §formal classroom structures. This text explains the §roots of the Main Concerns Theory, which has been §derived from asking the question, What are the Main §Concerns of Students with Disabilities in Transition §into Adult Life? Supportive education during §transition flows directly from a deep understanding §of each student s spirit and essence. Practical §definitions are offered to ensure implementation of §both symbiotic relationships and democratic §processes. A trilogy will be published as a §practitioner s guide.
