The hospital chief of staff spearheads a witch-hunt against a competing physician. After first being on trial at the hospital based on a fraudulent review, the doctor finds himself on trial for the murder of the chief of staff, found decapitated and disemboweled in the parking garage of his mistress's condo. A vicious prosecutor and evil judge result in the doctor's attorney, his former Harvard roommate and his new found love, the beautiful daughter of a patient killed by the chief of staff during surgery, hatching a plot to try and save him.
